SUMMER SOCIAL NEWS

2011 will be another fun summer at the Flower Valley Pool! We hope all members will take advantage of the socials and come out to all events. We have added TGIF every Friday in July and August. TGIF is your chance to bring up dinner and drinks and dine under the stars. On the third Friday of the month drinks are on us!!! Be sure to bring your hot dogs, and sizzle up steaks while we provide the beverages – both adult and non-alcoholic. We are excited about the adult social Crab Feast and hope to see many faces come out and pick some crabs. There will be a nominal fee for this event. Encourage any new members to attend the New Member Happy Hour. This is a great venue for meeting other new members and the board of directors will be there to welcome all to the pool! Be sure to plan to spend July 4th and Labor Day at the pool! Once again there will be food available, entertainment and lots of fun with friends and neighbors.

Host a Pool Party!

What a great place to celebrate a birthday, get your family together or host a group of friends. A party at the pool is an affordable way to have fun in the sun or under the stars! There is a $150 refundable deposit required and a $50 Reservation Fee to reserve the party pavilion for an event. Guest fees are waived for all private parties. To schedule your event, here's what you need to do:

Check the Event Calendar online at http://www.my.calendars.net/fvbrc_calendar. Choose your date and email the Party Reservation Form to jmacknd@yahoo.com to hold your date. Leave your check(s) for the deposit and the reservation fee with a copy of your reservation form in an envelope at the pool with the pool manager on duty. Or mail it to Jeanne Mendelson at 15208 Wild Rose Lane, Rockville, MD 20853. Your party will not be reserved until payment is received. If payment is not received within 7 days of holding the date, your event will be released and taken off the calendar.
